Superstar Biodegradable Glitter is indistinguishable from cosmetic glitter made from polyester (PET). It is available in a wide range of vibrant colors and mixes. It feels much softer and more comfortable on the skin and in the hair compared to traditional polyester glitter.

Unlike conventional plastic glitter, Superstar Biodegradable Glitter is made from plant-based materials and naturally breaks down in the environment. It complies with EU Regulation 1223/2009. No animal testing was used during development or production. Bio-Glitter® is antimony-free**, meets EN71-3:2013+A1:2014 and EN71-2:2011 safety standards for toys, contains NON-GMO ingredients, and is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and is allergen-free.

With only a small amount of plastic and proven high biodegradability of 90% in freshwater, Superstar Biodegradable Glitter is just 3% away from meeting the performance criteria for the OK Biodegradable WATER certification. Superstar Biodegradable Glitter is 92% plastic-free. According to EU Regulation (EU) 2023/2055, these glitters are allowed to be sold until October 17, 2027, under the transition period.

Superstar Biodegradable Glitter is made from a specially biodegradable base film, certified according to EN13432 and ASTM D6400 standards, and is industrially compostable. All raw materials are fully eco-friendly and sourced according to FSC® standards.
